Both surface altFINS signals, but they answer different questions.
Signals Summary is state-based. It groups coins into pre-set market scans and answers: which coins currently match this strategy? You start with a strategy (e.g. "Oversold in Uptrend") and get the list of coins that fit it right now.
Signals Feed is event-based. It answers: what just triggered, across the whole market? You start with the event and work backwards to the coin. It is chronological, covers every signal type at once, and is designed for traders who want to react to fresh signals rather than screen for existing conditions.
| Page | Best for | Question it answers |
|---|---|---|
| Signals Summary | Strategy scans and current bullish or bearish setups | Which coins match my strategy right now? |
| Signals Feed | Live signals and newly triggered market events | What just triggered across the market? |
altFINS calculates 150+ technical indicators across 2,000+ cryptocurrencies on multiple timeframes (15 min, 1h, 4h, 12h, 1d). When a coin's indicator values cross a defined threshold, RSI drops below 30, the MACD histogram turns positive, price closes above a triangle's resistance line, the 50-day SMA crosses the 200-day, the platform records a signal event.
The Signals Feed is the stream of those events. The feed always shows the 1D interval. Each entry names the coin, the signal type and the time it triggered. If a chart pattern is found, the entry links directly to the chart pattern; otherwise, the live chart with relevant analytics is shown so you can validate the setup before acting. The feed updates continuously as new candles close, so signals appear as they happen rather than in a daily digest.
Search any asset and see every signal it has triggered recently, stacked together. Confluence is the point: one signal is noise, three pointing the same way is a setup.
Example (Bitcoin): in a single 24-hour window BTC triggered an Early Bullish Momentum Inflection (MACD histogram turning up), an RSI Oversold reading, and a Dragonfly Doji, a bullish candlestick reversal. Individually, each is weak. Together, they suggested BTC had found support and was set up for a near-term bounce.
If you trade one specific setup, filter the whole market down to just that signal:
Narrow the feed so it only shows signals for coins you already hold or track. This turns a market-wide firehose into a personal monitoring dashboard, the fastest way to know when something you own is about to move.
How to use signals safely: treat the feed as an idea generator, confirm every signal against the chart, size positions with a stop-loss, and learn the underlying technical analysis rather than following alerts blindly. altFINS publishes chart-pattern historical performance and offers a free trading course covering risk management.
