COIN PICK UPDATE: Innovative Decentralized Physical Infrastructure (DePIN) Project

We had another look at this unique Solana-based DePIN project that creates maps by having thousand of individuals use high quality dashcams to capture photographs of the world while driving. The project continues to grow on its mission to decentralize Google Maps. The project has produced a whole new map that views a location up to 100x more frequently than Google Street View and managed to map almost 10% of the planet in less than a year since its launch. The solution is currently present in more than 3.6k regions, and it had mapped more than 589M kilometers of road so far (up from 161M km in March 2024). The pace of increase in coverage is from approximately 26% in 2024 to around 35% of global roads by mid-2025.
