The Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) debuted with extraordinary success, posting $56 million in volume on its first day and an even stronger $72.4 million on its second trading session. This made BSOL the highest first-day turnover among nearly 850 ETFs launched this year, indicating robust investor interest. Experts like Bloomberg Senior ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas lauded the "huge" volume as a positive sign, while Multicoin Capital's Kyle Samani emphasized the "tremendous" amount of new capital now accessible to Solana that was previously unavailable. Furthermore, BSOL recorded impressive first-day inflows of roughly $69.5 million, followed by an additional $46.5 million, highlighting strong investor confidence.
Broader Crypto ETF Momentum
The momentum extends beyond BSOL, as other recently launched crypto ETFs are also exhibiting noteworthy activity. The Canary Litecoin ETF (LTCC) and Canary HBAR ETF (HBR) are sustaining trading volumes near $8 million and $1 million respectively, a rare occurrence given that most ETFs typically see sharp declines after their debut. Within the Solana ecosystem, Grayscale's newly converted Solana staking ETF (GSOL) entered the market with approximately $4 million in volume, and the REX Osprey SOL Staking ETF (SSK) added around $18 million.
