Bybit Signals Full Support for Avalanche’s Major Network Upgrade
Global cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has officially confirmed its support for the Avalanche (AVAX) v1.15.0 network upgrade. This move ensures continued compatibility for users interacting with both the primary AVAX token and the Avalanche C-Chain, minimizing potential disruptions during the blockchain's transition period.
Seamless Infrastructure Transition
The upgrade necessitates that exchange operators update the underlying software connecting their deposit, withdrawal, and internal wallet systems to the blockchain. Bybit has announced that it is currently updating its validator and node infrastructure to align with the v1.15.0 release. Crucially, the exchange intends to maintain active spot trading throughout the synchronization process, ensuring that the primary trading experience remains uninterrupted while backend systems are brought up to date.
Technical Alignment Without Tokenomics Changes
Investors and traders should note that the upgrade remains strictly technical and infrastructure-oriented. There are no planned changes to Avalanche’s token supply, redenomination schemes, or fundamental tokenomics. Furthermore, the transition is designed to be user-friendly, requiring no manual token migrations, asset swaps, or contract claims from individual holders. Once the node synchronization is finalized, full exchange services for the upgraded network will continue seamlessly, marking a successful integration of the new software at scale.
