Ethereum ETFs Snap Losing Streak: Fidelity Leads $29.4M Friday Rebound

After a bruising week of heavy redemptions, U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs finally found their footing on Friday, recording nearly $30 million in net inflows. This positive shift marks a critical turning point for digital asset funds, which had been struggling under intense selling pressure for several consecutive sessions.

Fidelity Charges Ahead as Market Sentiment Shifts

Fidelity’s FETH emerged as the dominant force during the session, single-handedly accounting for $26.2 million of the total inflows. Other contributors to the recovery included VanEck’s ETHV and Bitwise’s ETHW, which brought in $1.9 million and $1.3 million, respectively. In contrast, BlackRock’s ETHA recorded no net movement, while the remaining funds in the category reported a neutral session with no new capital activity.

A Brief Respite After a Week of Heavy Outflows

The Friday turnaround follows a particularly difficult stretch where Ethereum funds shed significant capital across three consecutive days of redemptions. The week saw staggering losses, including $142 million on September 15 and a massive $224.1 million on September 16, followed by another $39.3 million on September 17. While the $29.4 million rebound only recovers a small fraction of the total money that exited the market, it demonstrates that institutional demand for Ethereum exposure remains resilient. The coming sessions will be pivotal in determining whether this recovery is a genuine trend reversal or merely a temporary pause in a choppier market cycle.
