Global chip giant Nvidia is making a strategic move into the UK's burgeoning artificial intelligence landscape, reportedly committing a substantial investment to Nscale, a UK-based AI infrastructure firm. According to Bloomberg reports, Nvidia has announced a reported $683 million investment in Nscale, the artificial intelligence arm that spun off from cryptocurrency mining company Arkon Energy in May 2024. Nscale's primary mission is to offer AI cloud services across Europe, with a particular focus on the UK. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang indicated that this investment is integral to developing the UK's AI infrastructure.
