Truth Social has introduced a new rewards program centered around "Truth Gems" for its premium Patriot Package subscribers. These Gems, earned through user activity on the platform, can now be seamlessly converted into Cronos tokens via Crypto.com’s robust wallet infrastructure. This innovative feature is designed to boost user engagement and expand CRO's use cases beyond traditional exchange trading. Following the announcement, CRO experienced a notable surge, underscoring the market's positive reception to its increased utility within a major social media platform.
A Deeper Strategic Alliance
The integration of CRO into Truth Social is part of a broader, more profound partnership between Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), Truth Social’s parent company, and Crypto.com. TMTG recently finalized a significant purchase of 684.4 million CRO tokens, valued at approximately $105 million, representing a substantial portion of the token’s circulating supply. This acquisition is foundational to TMTG's new "Trump Media Group CRO Strategy," an initiative aimed at building a dedicated digital asset treasury around CRO, with plans to acquire up to 19% of the token’s total supply through future corporate actions.
