What to include in your message
The more we know, the faster we can help. Please include:
- Your altFINS account email — so we can look up your plan, credits, and usage
- Which product you use — the REST API, the MCP Server, or the altFINS CLI
- When it happened — the approximate date and time, including your time zone
- The exact error message — copy it as it is; if it contains an error ID, include it, as it lets us find your request in our logs
And depending on the product:

| REST API | The endpoint and HTTP method, the request parameters or body, and the HTTP status code with the response body you received |
| MCP Server | The AI client you use (for example Claude, VS Code, or Microsoft Copilot Studio), the prompt you asked, and the tool name with its parameters if you can see them |
| altFINS CLI | The command you ran, the CLI version, and your operating system |
Never send your API key or password by email. We will never ask you for them.
