SuperVerse (SUPER) is an Ethereum ERC-20 token launched in February 2021 as SuperFarm, still its on-chain label, and rebranded to SuperVerse in late 2022.
The project centers on a Web3 ecosystem that includes Super Studios, credited with the game Impostors, and Blackhole, a decentralized exchange on Avalanche. The SUPER token also exists as bridged copies on Base, Avalanche, Polygon PoS, and Soneium, all representing the same underlying asset rather than separate tokens.
SuperVerse differentiates itself through Blackhole, a decentralized exchange on Avalanche that routes a portion of trading fees into SUPER token buybacks, directly tying protocol usage to token demand.
Blackhole launched in early July 2025 and reached approximately $250 million in total value locked by July 28, 2025, reportedly becoming the largest decentralized exchange on Avalanche at that time, with SUPER trading pairs among its largest liquidity pools.
SUPER functions as both a governance and utility token within the SuperVerse ecosystem.
Holders stake SUPER in designated DAO pools to gain SuperVerse DAO membership and voting rights on a one-staked-token, one-vote basis. The token is also used within the Blackhole decentralized exchange, where a share of trading fees is used to buy back SUPER from the market.
SUPER has a maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens, with circulating supply of approximately 640.16 million as of 2026-09-02.
Vesting was primarily linear for the staking allocation and cliff-based for other tranches; the schedule concluded in 2024, and supply is not currently inflating.
SUPER launched via a Token Generation Event on February 22, 2021, as SuperFarm, matching the Ethereum contract's on-chain deployment date of February 21, 2021.
Funding was raised across a $150,000 seed round in Q4 2020 and a $1.2 million strategic/private round closed in February 2021, for a total of approximately $2.81 million. Named investors included Animoca Brands, Bitcoin.com, Black Edge Capital, Spark Digital Capital, Genesis Block Ventures, AU21 Capital, Woodstock, and Solidity Ventures.
SUPER is deployed as a canonical ERC-20 token on Ethereum, which uses proof-of-stake consensus.
The same token is also maintained as bridged implementations on Base, Avalanche, Polygon PoS, and Soneium, each inheriting its host chain's own consensus mechanism rather than operating an independent validator set.
SuperVerse was founded by Elliot Wainman, known by the handle "EllioTrades," a crypto content creator and investor prior to founding the project.
Super Studios, described as operating under the SuperVerse umbrella, is credited with developing the game Impostors. Founders and advisors hold a 100,000,000 SUPER allocation (10% of total supply), unlocked linearly over 24 months starting 12 months after the token generation event; none of this allocation has been accessed since launch.
SuperVerse is maintained today by SuperVerse DAO, a community-governed organization rather than a single incorporated company.
Ecosystem brands operating under this structure include Super Studios (game development), GigaMart (an NFT marketplace reported paused since November 2023), and Blackhole (a decentralized exchange on Avalanche tied to the SUPER buyback mechanism).
SuperVerse is governed by SuperVerse DAO: staking SUPER in designated pools grants DAO membership and voting rights on a one-staked-token, one-vote basis.
Proposals are voted on via Snapshot and remain open for six days after passing an approval process, following a formal SuperVerse Improvement Proposal (SVIP) framework covering fund allocation, partnership consideration, and informational proposals. This governance framework was introduced by early 2025.
Blackhole, SuperVerse's decentralized exchange on Avalanche, launched in early July 2025 and reached approximately $250 million in total value locked by July 28, 2025.
On April 9, 2025, SuperVerse announced a strategic partnership with SlingshotDAO to bring SUPER token integration into the Roblox ecosystem, targeting Roblox's large daily player base.
SUPER's original contract underwent a CertiK audit that reported zero findings across all severity levels. The project also holds a CertiK Skynet score of approximately 85.7 out of 100 (Grade A).
Holder concentration is a structural risk factor: the top 10 holders control approximately 54% of supply, the top 25 hold 70%, and the top 50 hold 85%, as of 2026-09-02.
